Prices in US dollars, taxes may apply. Minute counts are Sat-Link call time; playing without a call is always free and unmetered.
Questions
Why is calling paid when the game is free?
Every call is live speech recognition, reasoning and speech synthesis running on Google's Gemini Live service, billed to us per second of audio. Minutes are the honest unit: you pay for the phone line, not the game.
What counts as a minute?
Time with a call connected, whether you are talking, she is talking, or you are both quiet while she climbs. Hanging up (or letting the call drop when you close the game) stops the meter. Push-to-talk does not change how minutes are counted.
Can I use my own Gemini key instead?
Yes, on every plan, forever. Paste a key from Google AI Studio into Settings and calls go straight from your browser to Google; Google bills you at their rates (roughly $0.005 per minute of your audio and $0.018 per minute of Cara's speech at the time of writing). Subscriptions exist so that nobody has to manage a key or a Google account.
What does "fair use" mean on Unlimited?
Up to 6 hours of call time a day, about 180 hours a month. That is more than any person plays; the cap only exists so a script cannot keep a line open around the clock. Above it, calls pause until the next day and nothing is charged extra.
Do minutes roll over?
Sat-Link minutes roll over for one month, so a quiet month does not go to waste. Top-up packs last twelve months.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account page. You keep what you have paid for until the end of the period. Yearly plans are refundable within 14 days if unused.
When does this launch?
Subscriptions need accounts and a payment system, which are being built. Until then the game is free with bring-your-own-key calling. Join the waitlist and you will get the first month of Sat-Link free when it opens.
